HAKON FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I use all the frequencies that the equipment offers?

It is recommended to use a frequency of up to 5 Hz. As the frequency defines the application speed. Frequencies greater than 5 Hz can cause applicator decoupling.

Is Hakon technology suitable for all phototypes?

Yes. The technology is suitable for all phototypes.

Can the 4 D system be used on tall phototypes?

Programming the 4 D system is only suitable for phototypes I, II and III. In this system, the Ruby 694 nm wavelength is selected, it works on superficial hair and lightens the region.

Can Hakon wavelengths be selected individually?

No. Hakon technology delivers wavelengths simultaneously.

Can I apply it to the patient's ear area?

Hakon is not recommended for regions where the applicator does not have a good coupling.

What is the power of the Hakon equipment?

The Hakon has a power of 1500VA.

Is it necessary to change the filter?

Yes, the filter must be changed every 6 months.

What type of water is used in Hakon? And how often is it changed?

It is recommended to use distilled water and refill every 30 days with 1200 ml.
